Frequently Asked Questions
Participants of Bermuda Open Studios weekend in The Hague (18–19 April 2026)
What is Bermuda Open Studios?
Bermuda Open Studios is a weekend event during which artists and creative makers in The Hague open their studios to the public. Visitors are invited to explore workspaces, meet artists, and discover a wide range of artistic practices. When does the event take place?
The fifth edition of the event takes place over the weekend of Saturday 18 April and Sunday 19 April 2026.What are the opening hours?
Opening hours are 11:00–18:00 on both days. Participants are expected to be present during these hours.Who can participate?
The event is open to professional artists, designers, creative makers and art workers with a studio or workspace in The Hague hosting at least three makers. Individual studios may contact us via email to participate in a group show that will be hosted in a location in the center. How can I participate?
Apply through this form. What is the deadline to register as a participant?
The deadline to register is January 16 2026.Can I share a studio with other artists?
Absolutely. Shared studios are welcome. In previous editions, we noticed that studios with less than three makers sometimes had fewer visitors. This year, we’re creating a separate exhibition space to give these artists more visibility and bring their work to a wider audience. Each participating artist should be registered individually through this form and clearly presented to visitors. What kind of studio set up do you expect?
The setup of your studio is up to you. You can decide to show work in process, or make a mini exhibition, or show your studio in its current state. You can have a look at our website for examples of previous editions. Is there a participation fee?
The participation fee is €25 per person. We’re a small team, and this fee helps cover shared costs such as promotion, locations, printing, and event organisation. What do I need to prepare for visitors?
You are responsible for:- Sharing online and printed communication with your own network (posters and handouts will be provided)
- Opening and supervising your studio during the event
