Bermuda Open is a yearly, artist-led event presenting the studios of contemporary artists in The Hague.

In its fifth edition, more than 140 visual artists opened their studios to the public and welcomed you inside the spaces where art is made.

The public could discover over 20 locations throughout the city, from individual spaces and shared studio buildings, to artist-run initiatives and group exhibitions, where you’ll meet the makers behind the works.

Founded in 2021 as a small initiative named after the triangular route connecting the first participating studios, Bermuda Open has grown into a city-wide event inviting audiences to experience the city’s contemporary art community first-hand.

About

Bermuda Open is a yearly open studio event that presents studios of artists with a contemporary practice in the city of The Hague (NL). The title, Bermuda, is inspired by the triangle shape formed by the streets and studios that initiated the project, back in 2021.

Bermuda Open fifth edition (18–19 April 2026) presents over 140 artist studios and 3 group shows in 22 locations throughout the city of The Hague.

Bermuda Open is a non-profit initiative with no legal existence yet, relying entirely on the participation and commitment of the artists – thanks to their volunteer work. The fifth edition (18–19 April 2026) will present more than 140 artist studios throughout the city. The 2026 edition is organized by Hein Eberson, Jonathan Hielkema, Cathleen Owens, Ariane Toussaint and Hanae Wilke. Visual Identity by Carmen Dusmet Carrasco. Photos by Goed Folk, Hannah Schleifer, and Ariane Toussaint. This event is generously supported by Stroom Den Haag.
