Bermuda Open Studios x Heden

After a succesful collaboration with ‘Art to make you travel’ last year, Bermuda Open Studios and Heden are teaming up for the second time to create the exhibition ‘Nightshift’, around the theme of the night as a place for free expression, identity formation and community making. The selected artists are: Jonathan Hielkema, Alice West, Dirk Hardy, Shana de Villiers, Silke Riis, Jesus Canuto Iglesias, Koos Breen, Femke Hoppenbrouwer, and Adele Dipasquale. They will get the opportunity to exhibit their works in a group exhibition together with works from the permanent collection of Heden, on show from November 8 to December 21 2024.

About

Bermuda Open is a yearly open studio event that presents studios of artists with a contemporary practice in the city of The Hague (NL). The title, Bermuda, is inspired by the triangle shape formed by the streets and studios that initiated the project, back in 2021.

The fourth edition (9–10 November 2024) presents over 115 artist studios in 27 locations throughout the city.

Bermuda Open is a non-profit initiative with no legal existence yet, relying entirely on the participation and commitment of the artists – thanks to their volunteer work. The 2024 edition is organized by Ariane Toussaint. Adviser: Hein Eberson. Production: Jonathan Hielkema. Communication: Cathleen Owens, Hanae Wilke, Linda Overzee. Graphic Design: Carmen Dusmet Currasco.

Bermuda Open 2024 is proudly supported by Stroom Den Haag.
